Our most successful developer conference yet, APU13 brought thousands of technology experts to San Jose to discuss, debate and immerse themselves in the latest tools, techniques and advancements in OpenCL™, C++AMP, OpenGL, Mantle and APUs. Ryan Shrout of PC Perspective reacted to the showing of Battlefield 4 powered by Kaveri by saying it, " Looked damn impressive and the frame rates were silky and smooth." Rik Myslewski at The Register says Kaveri is an, " Important milestone for AMD." With the CPU and GPU working in harmony on a single piece of silicon, Anton Shilov of X-Bit Labs noted that this will allow the processors to seamlessly move tasks between the best-suited processing elements without penalties. As Michelle Fitzsimmons of Tech Radar put it, HSA brings, " Parity to the processors."
