ISC RESEARCH POSTERS

The ISC High Performance conference is Europe's largest
international conference and exhibition for high performance computing
(HPC), networking and storage. The ISC 2017 Research Posters
activity provides authors the opportunity to present their latest
research results, projects and innovations in an interactive session
to a global HPC audience.

Poster authors will give short presentations on their material on
Tuesday, June 20, and will also have the opportunity to informally
present them to the attendees during lunch and coffee breaks. The
accepted research posters will be displayed from Tuesday, June 20
through Wednesday, June 21, 2017, and there will be research posters
reception on Tuesday morning sponsored by PRACE, the Partnership for
Advanced Computing in Europe.

ISC RESEARCH POSTER AWARDS

This year, ISC Research Posters are eligible for FIVE awards.

First, the ISC Research Posters Committee will evaluate the short
presentations and research posters on-site and select one winner in
each of the four main submission categories as listed in the call for
research papers: 1) Architectures & Networks; 2) Applications &
Algorithms; 3) Data, Storage & Visualization; 4) Programming Models &
Systems Software. The four ISC Research Poster Award winners will
receive a cash prize of 500 Euro and a certificate each. The four ISC
Research Poster Awards are sponsored by the conference organizers.

Second, PRACE, Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe, will
award a certificate and a voucher valued at 1,500 Euro to attend an
HPC training or event to the best poster submitted to the ISC Research
Posters in one of the following areas: 1) a breakthrough in science
achieved through high performance computing, 2) an algorithm or
implementation that achieves a significant improvement in scalability
or performance, or 3) a novel approach to performance evaluation on a
massively parallel architecture.
