CALL FOR PAPERS
******************************
The 1st International Workshop on Big Data Storage, Analytics, and
Visualization (BDSAV-2013)
http://www.people.vcu.edu/~
******************************
OVERVIEW
------------------------------
Explosive growth in data volume and complexity imposes unprecedented
challenges for researchers who investigate new storage and computational
solutions to support fast and reliable access to large datasets and
transform them into insights. The capability of managing and mining large
data sets is critical for domain scientists in various disciplines to gain
vital scientific importance for knowledge discovery. Achieving the needed
capability will require collaborative and interdisciplinary efforts to
realize new holistic solutions to access, analyze, and visualize data at
large scales. This workshop aims to bring computer science researchers and
domain scientists together to share their vision and ideas to address big
data challenges, with a focus on efficient big data storage, data
analytics, and visualization.
