 APU13 Keynote and Technical Presentations Now Available

AMD Media SDK Media SDK v1.0 (Beta) Released 
Developers can use the Media SDK v1.0 beta release for leveraging AMD media accelerators for video encoding and decoding, GPU accelerated video pre/post processing, low latency video encoding and more. The Media SDK can be downloaded via the new unified installer, and should be used with the Catalyst 13.9 driver.  Learn more here.

Tools AMD APP SDK 2.9 Released
The AMD APP SDK 2.9 release has new ease-of-use and productivity features, comprising a unified installer that includes the new version of APP SDK 2.9 and the Media SDK v1.0 (Beta), a web-based sample browser, support for CMake, as well as improved OpenCL™ source editing in Visual Studio. Learn more.

AMD Code XL Code XL 1.3 Available
Code XL v1.3 includes a number of new features including, remote debugging and profiling, kernel analysis with a new, integrated “Analyze” mode, CPU profiling and more. Get the full details here.

OpenCL Logo Free OpenCL™ Training Video 
AMD Developer Central forum member Adrien Guillon posted a link and information about a free OpenCL™  training video that he created. Check out the details in the OpenCL™ forum and then head over to view his video. Adrien says this is the first video in a series.

HSA Foundation Oracle Joins HSA Foundation to Bring HC Capabilities to Java

SC13 Students Students win SC13 Commodity Cluster Challenge Using AMD Systems
Students from Bentley University and Northeastern University won the Super Computing 2013 Commodity Cluster Challenge with AMD A10 APUs. We enjoyed working with them and congratulate them on the fantastic results they were able to achieve. Read how they did it here.
