ICS 2015 Workshop on GPU Supercomputing and Beyond (GPUB 2015)

GPUB 2015 - Workshop on GPU Supercomputing and Beyond - Application Performance Portability
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In conjunction with ICS 2015, 29th International Conference on Supercomputing,
June 8 - 11, 2015, Newport Beach, California, http://www.ics-conference.org/

Many of today's top supercomputers are built with CPU+GPU nodes. As we move towards
exascale, supercomputer nodes are becoming even more heterogeneous in terms of the types
of processors, memories and storage used. The current practice of rewriting applications
for each new node type is too costly and time consuming. Current industry approaches such
as OpenMP and OpenACC address some but not all challenges, such as algorithm variations.
This workshop aims to provide a forum for researchers in applications, algorithms,
languages, compilers, runtimes, and architecture to forge a vision for programming systems
that will allow developers to write and maintain a single code base that achieves high
performance on many of the diverse node types.

GPUB 2015 will be a half day workshop with invited talks and paper presentations.
