=========
Overview
=========
SPLASH-MARC will be a mini-conference focusing on the overlap between software systems, programming languages, and many-core architectures. Previous symposia in this series have brought together diverse research interests ranging from power consumption to programming language support, from message passing to software-managed coherence, all with a common tie to many-core platforms, such as the Intel experimental Single-Chip Cloud (SCC) architecture or the Xeon Phi product family. The symposium should be of general interest to the substantial segment of the community working on various aspects of concurrency throughout the systems software stack. The format will include a combination of technical sessions, panel discussion, invited speakers, and opportunity for all participants to share many-core aspects of their current or future work.

=======
Topics
=======
All authors are invited to submit unpublished, original work. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Bare metal and operating system support for novel many-core architectures
- Virtualization of many-core platforms
- Runtime support for scaling applications to many-core
- Experiences porting legacy software to many-core architectures
- Tools for performance analysis on many-core architectures
- Tools and curricula supporting many-core education
- Power-aware computation on many-core architectures

This SPLASH edition of the MARC symposium will give special attention to:
- Programming languages and systems software for many-core architectures

========
Program
========
The Symposium will take place on Monday, October 28th, 2013, 8:30am 5:00pm in room Regency B of the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. Detailed program information will be posted on the conference website when available.

============
Submissions
