(In Cooperation with ACM SIGMOD)
-----------------Call For Industry Track Papers---------------
Industry track papers submission: November 3, 2014
Industry track papers notification: December 15, 2014
------------------------------ ------------------------------ --
The IEEE International Conference on Cloud Engineering (IC2E)
conference series seeks to provide a high-quality and comprehensive
forum, where researchers and practitioners can exchange information on
engineering principles, enabling technologies, and practical
experiences as related to cloud computing. By bringing together
experts that work on different levels of the cloud stack - systems,
storage, networking, platforms, databases, and applications, IC2E will
offer an end-to-end view on the challenges and technologies in cloud
computing, foster research that addresses the interaction between
different layers of the stack, and ultimately help shape the future of
cloud-transformed business and society.
The Industrial Track of the IC2E 2015 solicits papers for presentation
at the conference and inclusion in the conference proceedings. The
topics of interest are similar to those in the general conference Call
For Papers. The purpose of the Industrial Track is to emphasize
practical experience and to disseminate information of particular
interest to developers, practitioners, and others involved in
real-world large-scale cloud systems. Examples of these key areas
include:
+ Experience with industry-segment-specific cloud deployments and application
+ Experience in applying recent research advances to real-world problems
+ Issues regarding design choices and practical deployments in PaaS, SaaS, etc
+ Issues of scalability, availability, robustness, and failure recovery
+ Life cycle, system evolution, and self-healing
+ Economics: Metering, pricing, billing, monitoring
+ Interoperability, versioning, compatibility, and dependencies
+ Experience with cloud computing management systems, tools, and integration
+ Open source implementations of cloud technologies
+ Performance analysis, workload characterization and optimization of
real-world systems
+ Cloud customer experience and cloud applications
+ Usability studies
Submissions should be made using the conference submission system at
https://easychair.org/ conferences/?conf=ic2e- industry
Papers must not exceed 8 pages (IEEE style), including abstract, all
figures, tables, and references. Submitted papers should follow the
general IC2E formatting instructions.
Submitted papers may not be submitted for conference publication,
journal publication, or be under review for any other conference or
journal. For any questions regarding this, please contact the track
chair.
