PARMA-DITAM 2016 WORKSHOP
Co-located with HIPEAC 2016
==============================
7th Workshop on Parallel Programming and Run-Time Management Techniques for Many-core Architectures
8th Workshop on Design Tools and Architectures for Multi-Core Embedded Computing Platforms
January 18 2016, Prague, Czech Rebublic
The current trend towards many-core architectures requires a global rethinking of software and hardware design.
The PARMA-DITAM workshop focuses on parallel programming models, design space exploration and tools and run-time
management techniques to exploit the features of many-core computing architectures.
The workshop will have five main topics:
• T1: Parallel programming models and languages, compilers and virtualization techniques
• T2: Runtime adaptivity, runtime management, power management and memory management
• T3: Heterogeneous and reconfigurable many-core architectures and design space exploration
• T4: Design tools and methodologies for many-core architectures
• T5: Parallel applications for many-core platforms
• T6: Energy-efficient microservers and autotuning techniques for heterogeneous HPC applications
Organizing Committee:
• General Co-Chairs: Cristina Silvano, POLIMI, IT - Joao Cardoso, UPorto, PT
• Program Co-Chairs: Giovanni Agosta, POLIMI, IT - Michael Huebner, UBochum, DE
• Panel Organizer: William Fornaciari, POLIMI, IT
• Publicity Chair: Dimitrios Soudris, NTUA, GR
• Publication Chair: Carlo Galuzzi, Maastricht Univ., NL
• Web and Submission Chair: Sotirios Xydis, NTUA, GR
Proceedings of the workshop will be published in the ACM International Conferences Proceedings Series. Papers should be submitted electronically
through the workshop website. The review process will be double- blind. Electronic paper submission requires a full paper, up to 6 double column
ACM format pages, including figures and references. Papers should be submitted in PDF format. Please use the following template when preparing
your manuscript: http://www.acm.org/sigs/ publications/proceedings- templates
We invite posters for each of the five workshop topics. Poster submissions should include a 150 - 200 word abstract and the one - page poster itself
in an A4 size format. A workshop digest based upon the one - page abstract and one - page poster will be distributed to all participants of the workshop.
Note that the accepted posters will NOT be included in the proceedings. Posters will be published online at the Workshop web site.
Paper/Poster submission deadline: October 30, 2015 - 11:59 PM (UTC)
Extended Notification of acceptance: November 27, 2015
Camera ready version: December 18, 2015
