CALL FOR PAPERS

The 2nd Workshop on Smarter Planet and Big Data Analytics (2nd-WSPBDA)
is a forum for students, researchers and practitioners
engaged in processing data from several sources with multiple
modalities such as structured and unstructured data, text, visual and
in other formats. Massive data-sets being generated in both scientific
and commercial domains provide unprecedented opportunity for analytics
that can help build smart cities, aid environmental goals, provide
insights into bio-medical processes and ultimately build smarter
planet. The workshop is envisaged to be a prolific forum for
exchange of ideas and research results related to all aspects of big
data analytics,including high performance/parallel computing
platforms/architectures, novel theoretical models, novel programming
models, visualization analytics for big data.
2nd-WSPBDA will be held on 4th January, 2015 in Goa, India co-located
with 16th International Conference on Distributed Computing and
Networking (http://www.icdcn. org/).

PAPER SUBMISSION
----------------
Workshop invites quality submissions, as per the schedule mentioned
below. Papers should be at most 6 pages, including title, abstract,
figures and references, and not published or under review elsewhere.
Papers should be prepared as per ACM conference proceedings format.
Workshop papers will not appear in the main conference proceedings but
would be part of the ACM Digital Library (ACM Approval Pending). We
welcome work in progress.
